writing poems on grief, connection, and wonder

about

Thank you for being here! I am a smidge proud of myself for organizing enough of my poetry to start growing baby roots in this digital ground.

I have been writing poems since I was a wee lass and since my moon is in Scorpio I don’t think I have a choice but to feel deeply into the abyss of my soul and existence. Expression is oxygen for me so if I don’t get it out - I’ll explode. You don’t want that on your conscience do you?

I explore the quiet intersections of grief, motherhood, and the human experience. I live in the tender spaces—where loss and beauty coexist, and where meaning is often felt long before it is understood...

The invitations have been sent out (metaphorically) and now I invite you, dear reader not toward resolution, but toward presence: to sit with what is, to honor what has been, and to trust in the quiet unfolding of what remains.

I am so grateful you’ve stopped by.

White plate with syrup, crumbs, and silver fork on a table

I think breakfast is sacred.
Even if you just stand
to watch the tea kettle boil.
Sunlit mornings and creaky steps
with oversized blankets
and soggy eyes
welcome another try at life.
It's dusty and quiet--
just a soul trying to wake up
and a cup of tea.
